To know more about the story behind this initiative, please visit the website of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs:

Shinrin-Yoku is the practice of spending time in nature for the purpose of enhancing health, wellness, and happiness. It is a Japanese term that translates into “forest bathing” - taking in the forest atmosphere. Through a guided experience, you will be led by a trained guide through a series of invitations that slows you down, awakens your senses, and supports you in building a deep, healing connection with nature.
